Who Are KJ & The Motones?
KJ & The Motones are a London, Ontario-based Motown and soul cover band dedicated to celebrating the timeless rhythms, soulful melodies, and sparkling energy that defined generations of music. Their carefully curated repertoire pays homage to the golden age of soul, honouring the artists and songs that once made the whole world get up and move.
What to Expect on July 5
This is a show where you simply will not be able to stay in your lawn chair. The combination of Motown’s greatest hits, a tight live band, and the gorgeous outdoor setting at the Glencoe train station is a recipe for a fun summer evening. Bring your family, bring your friends, and come ready to move.
Admission is by donation — pay what you can when the hat is passed. Food truck on site, or bring a picnic. Lawn chairs and sun hats recommended. Rain plan? Head across the street to the Legion.
